Diomira, invisible musical city
This project draws its inspiration from the first city of Italo Calvino's Invisible Cities: "A city with a hundred silver domes, bronze effigies of all the known gods, streets paved with tin (...) from a terrace a woman's voice cries: boo!, one comes to envy those who at the present moment think that they have already experienced an evening like this and that they were happy that time."
Diomira, like the invisible city described by Italo Calvino, is a place that one approaches without ever quite reaching.
A space of invented memories, of common memories that we share even without having experienced them, of dreamed encounters between cultures, sounds and stories.
It is this nostalgia for an unknown elsewhere that guides the projects we carry out.
